At Superior Piping & Fabrication, safety is the cornerstone of how we operate.
Our work—pipe fabrication, welding, heavy material handling, and industrial assembly—requires
strict attention to hazards. We maintain a safety-first culture to protect our employees, clients,
and job sites while delivering reliable, high-quality results.
We maintain a structured safety program led by trained supervisors and a designated Safety Officer.
Every employee shares responsibility for maintaining a safe workplace.
We follow OSHA and industry-standard safety practices, supported by written programs for welding,
cutting, hot work, lifting, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, PPE, and general shop/site safety.
Our policies align with contractor-prequalification systems such as ISNetworld.
Before each job, we conduct hazard assessments and safety meetings to identify risks and determine
protective measures. Tasks involving welding, confined spaces, heavy lifting, or elevated work
receive additional planning and controls.
Team members are trained and equipped with proper PPE, including welding helmets, FR clothing,
gloves, eye/hearing protection, and respirators when required. Tools and equipment undergo regular
inspection and maintenance.
We use a formal hot-work permit system for welding, cutting, and grinding. Fire watches,
spark containment, and ventilation standards are enforced to prevent fire hazards.
All workers complete safety orientation and ongoing training. We conduct regular toolbox talks and
encourage open reporting of hazards or near misses to strengthen our safety culture.
We document and investigate all incidents or near misses to identify root causes and implement
corrective actions. This helps us continually strengthen our safety performance.
Safe work is quality work—and we stand behind both.
